Budokan Martial Arts Center at the "Hadassah Neurim" Youth Village

Perched on cliffs above the Mediterranean Sea, north of Netanya, Hadassah Neurim is jointly owned by Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, and the Jewish Agency for Israel, and run by a non-profit organization. In addition to 230 boarding students aged 14 - 18, 270 teenagers from the surrounding communities attend Hadassah Neurim daily as the regional high school. The village hosts a National Center for Young Athletes that has had great success in national and international competition. The Village's cross-country team for example, won the Israeli championships and then went on to win first place in the world championships. In addition to the boarding school, the village is hosting various activities, and included in it's facilities are: guests rooms, dinning room, classrooms, pool, seashore and horseback riding. In 2005, Yonah Sensei opened the "Budokan Martial Arts Center" within the facilities of the village. The dojo has two practice areas, one of them matted with an Olympic Judo mat, and modern exercise equipment. The center is opened for martial arts schools and teachers of all systems. All along the year, the center provides regular trainings, special clinics, training camps, and Instructors and Coaches course.
